Ridgewater Energy are leaders in the energy efficiency field and have over 65 years of combined experience working in this sector in Dorset, the South West and the South Coast generally. Priorities We design, develop and deliver fuel poverty projects, and offer consultancy to Local Authorities, Utility Companies, Installers, Landlords and Letting Agents, as well as advising householders on saving energy in the home. We aim to prioritise assistance to people on low incomes and in poor health to help them afford to adequately heat their homes and make them a healthier and more cost-effective place to live. This is achieved through advice, signposting to other local and national agencies and by identifying grants, finance and any other suitable sources of assistance. Carbon Emissions Ridgewater Energy are also concerned with reducing carbon emissions as well as our general impact on the planet and are always keen to investigate and help push forward new developments and technologies that help do this. We currently deliver a variety of field-based services including energy advice visits, the fitting of small energy efficiency improvements, (such as LED lightbulbs, radiator panels, cylinder jackets and draught proofing), condensation advice visits. Private Rental Sector Ridgewater Energy run projects to advise the rental sector on MEES (Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards), to fit cavity wall, loft, and solid wall insulation systems. We also specialise in assisting people living in residential park homes with heating, energy efficient glazing, external wall, loft and underfloor insulation. Ridgewater Energy also work with many 3rd sector organisations and public services such as Local Authorities, the Fire and Rescue Service, Age UK, Citizens Advice, and many more.
