1 July 2024 – 30 August 2024: Eastbound closure of Wimborne Road East between a point west of Clayford Avenue and a point east of Stanfield Road. This closure is to facilitate works to continue the cycleway link along Wimborne Road. East bound traffic will be diverted along Cobham Road. This work will inevitably cause traffic delays and inconvenience especially at the end of the working day when trying to access the A31.

The BID Business Plan 2024-2029 sets out the priorities, objections and actions for the next five years. These priorities were informed by surveys and conversations with businesses on the estates. From which were developed five priority areas:

 

1. Increasing business security and preventing crime
2. Improvements to transport and access
3. Better services and infrastructure
4. Trade and Save, and
5. Communications

 

The Plan sets out the actions proposed under each objective together with the investment profile. It also highlights 38 key achievements to-date ranging from making the estates the safest in Dorset to gull management and wildflower planting.
